Be prepared to be scared!

A giant spider in a gigantic spiderweb

This giant spider web will certainly be seen from a distance as it welcomes trick or treaters to your home!

You’ll need about half an hour and the following supplies:

• Any rope, yarn or string. (For a spider web that will be outdoors, macrame cording and clothesline are good choices.)
• Faux spider
• Scissors
• Screw hook eyes or hooks

DIY scary giant eyeballs

Here’s a fun and easy DIY project that will be sure to excite the neighborhood! Simply paint large beach balls, hopper balls or plastic pumpkins white, then add black and green or the color of your choice for the eye, for some scary fun in your front yard.

Supplies:

• Green plastic pumpkin buckets, beach balls or hopper balls
• Paint brush
• White spray paint
• Aluminum foil
• Black and red paint (or white, green and black if using beach balls or hopper balls)

A spooky black cat is a must for a frightening Halloween. Here’s a very scary kitty you can make with plywood and a jigsaw blade.

Supplies you’ll need:

• 2 'x 2' piece of plywood
• Jigsaw
• Fine-toothed wood-cutting jigsaw blade
• Electric drill with an extra-large drill bit
• 18" wood landscaping stakes (2)
• Pneumatic nail gun and nails
• Hammer
• Paintbrush
• Scissors
